In order to provide high performing products, seaming chucks by Imeta can be customized in many ways.
Seaming chuck lips in particular can be provided with the following superficial finishing features:
SMOOTH: as standards usually in use.
SANDBLASTED (on demand): innovative superficial. It is useful to increase the lid’s dragging not damaging the varnish.
KNURLED: (on demand): making vertical notches gives the best lid dragging performance. We suggest this finishing for very specific applications to avoid the damaging of the varnish.
All these finishings are also possible in presence of superficial coatings, such as TIN or 98 HRC DIAMOND, applied at the end of the productive process.
